Back Away from the Starbucks... Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipes to Celebrate Fall

As soon as the calendar shifts from August to September, we have to admit there’s a little longing for our old lives… including that oh so familiar Pumpkin Spice Latte. But the reality is, we don’t need it, and once we found out what was in it, we decided to kiss it good-bye for good. In our quest to recreate our very ‘basic bitch’ Fall beverage of choice, we found loads of recipes for paleo friendly pumpkin spice lattes filled with real ingredients that we don’t feel the least bit concerned about drinking. Most of these are easily made keto too.

Not a coffee drinker? We’ve found that strongly brewed black tea creates a beautiful pumpkin spice tea latte.

Pro Tip – many of these recipes are well served by a touch of orange zest or some additional vanilla extract or (our favorite!) vanilla bean powder.

Simple switches like dates instead of maple syrup make this one Whole 30 compliant. We love that it’s a single serving and includes a coconut whipped cream. This one is great over ice too.

This creamer features soaked nuts and can easily be made ahead and stored in the fridge for use. Like it a little sweeter? Dates are an easy add-in.
Not able to tolerate nuts? Shredded coconut, flax, or sunflower seeds can easily be substituted.
